Grooming

A professional grooming session typically consists of your dog  being brushed, bathed and dried, as well as trimmed or clipped. We will brush or comb out mats before the bath, making it easier to lather the dog with shampoo. We clean the dog’s ears to remove buildup and to check for signs of infection.

I would start by giving your dog an examination to check their skin, fur, mats and so on. I would start at the nose and work down to their tail. As mentioned above a brush firstly, then a nice bath and a dry, then the fun in clipping and trimming begins I’d clean their ears, check their bottom for you and empty those anal glands and a nail trim. I’ll pay particular attention to every part of your dogs needs including between their toes, their hygiene area, ears, eyes – being a qualified nurse I’m aware of which areas are in the need of more attention.
